Carnage Announces Road Rave Drive-In Festival

Road Rave Arizona May 30

Phoenix, AZ – Carnage, Relentless Beats, and Medium Rare have partnered to announce North America’s first-ever drive-in festival of the COVID era, THE ROAD RAVE. The ROAD RAVE is set to make history on May 30th from 7-11pm in Phoenix, Arizona, featuring superstar DJ’s Carnage; Hulk Gang (4B & Valentino Khan); SayMyName; Dr Fresch b2b BIJOU, and Paz. [Editor’s note: see updated below about additional date]. With no plans for traditional live events in the foreseeable future, Carnage’s revolutionary concept blends a traditional drive-in movie with Carnage’s festival series RARE. This event, unlike a conventional drive-in movie, will bring a full festival main stage production to life while viewers can safely party from their parked vehicles. Capacity is limited to 500 cars, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 people per vehicle. Rideshare vehicles and busses are not permitted at this time. Concessions will be available to order online with direct delivery to each vehicle. Masks are heavily encouraged to be worn at all times. Social distancing will be enforced with strict guidelines and restrictions on when attendees are allowed to safely leave their vehicles. In addition to providing a unique drive-in concert event for dance music fans, Carnage is going to donate a portion of the proceeds from the event and his forthcoming documentary to the ANF COVID-19 Relief Fund that provides assistance to vulnerable communities in Nicaragua during the coronavirus outbreak. Tickets are on sale now at www.TheRoadRave.com, starting at $45 for car passes. More information is available at TheRoadRave.com or by calling the official hotline at 480-900-1588. Diamanté Anthony Blackmon is the American Dream. Diamanté grew up in Nicaragua and came to America at ten years old, speaking very little English. Diamanté grew into Carnage – one of the most dominant superstar artists in the world. From pioneering the Trap genre, massive collaborations, and festival appearances in the dance world, to gold records with Lil Pump, Migos, Steve Aoki, and Mac Miller, few artists are able to move between genres like Carnage. The Las Vegas-based artist established himself as the reigning champion of hard bass and trap music with early hits. He was later one of the first artists to transition electronic music into hip-hop, rap, and urban styles. Before launching his label Heavyweight Records in 2017, Carnage put out hit after hit such as “I Like Tuh” with ilovemakonnen, ‘Bricks’ with Migos, ‘Down for Me’ and ‘Guala’ with G-Eazy, ‘Homie’ with Meek Mill and Yung Thug, ‘Learn How to Watch’ with Mac Miller and MadeInTYO and ‘iShyne’ with Lil Pump. Carnage has toured the world over and been a main stage artist at the biggest international festivals, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Ultra, EDC, and more! After taking a break from music and touring in 2018 to focus on his mental health, Carnage dove right back into it with his hits “Letting People Go,” and “Wait For Me” with G-Eazy and Wiz Khalifa. In partnership with the RAICES foundation, the music video for “Letting People Go” raised awareness for immigrants at the US / Mexico border and retraced Carnage’s families voyage into America, as covered by TIME and dozens of other outlets.

Update: Due to the increased demand of the May 30 date, tickets have already sold out. An additional ROAD RAVE date has been added for Phoenix on May 29, featuring Carnage and additional artists to be announced later. Tickets for the May 30 event can be purchased on www.TheRoadRave.com.

Eureka! We Struck Festival Gold at Arizona’s Goldrush 2019

Dr. Fresch at Goldrush 2019

Yee-haw Cowpokes, Goldrush is back in town! Relentless Beats‘ 3rd annual Goldrush returned to Rawhide Western Town and Event Center for two days this past September 27-28, 2019. The event boasted four stages, 40+ musical acts and several individual experiences ranging from General Admission to Platinum VIP, which included private meet and greets, complimentary drinks, steakhouse dinner, raised viewing deck, front-row viewing, air-conditioned bathrooms, gift bag, and chances to hang with your favorite artists in the Platinum Lounge.

Located just outside Phoenix, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for this western-themed festival. The quaint American frontier replica town combined with the mechanical bull amplified the feeling of the Wild West and invited participants to join the theme. The jail housed partner GreenPharms, a medical dispensary, where attendees had the chance to pick up some killer swag, get a picture taken while locked in the jail cell, or sign up to win an Arizona medical card for a year. The shooting gallery was free to play and would catch a few festival goers who were changing stages or looking for a way to kill time before the next act. Keeping true to the theme, attendees could be seen rocking everything from cowboy boots and chaps to light-up fuzzy coats and nothing but glitter.

Although Goldrush is a relatively new festival, the lineup was nothing short of impressive. Some noteworthy acts from the weekend included a sax heavy set from Zhu, vibrant visuals from Oliver Heldens, straight up filth and grime from Shlump and a bass blow-out from retired NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, performing as DJ Diesel. The 7’1’ DJ Diesel joined the crowd toward the end of his set and moshed alongside festival goers and even lifted a rail-riding 5ft girl into the air like she was a paper doll. DJ Diesel also made a point to meet, shake hands, exchange hugs, and grab a few quick selfies with festival goers after he climbed out of the mosh pit and walked backstage. His set seemed to be a crowd favorite and even Dr. Fresch was spotted on stage during Shaq’s set dancing around and hyping up the crowd while wearing a sombrero.

The visuals were intense with many amazing light and video productions, but what was really breathtaking were the views from the venue of the natural landscape and mountain sunsets. It was blissful to be vibing along to great music while watching the sun disappear behind the Phoenix mountains.

Don’t forget to shine those boots and we will catch you cowpokes at next year’s hoedown!
