Sunset Music Festival Releases 2018 Lineup

Sunset Music Festival returns to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida for its seventh year, this May 26 & 27, 2018. The lineup is bass-heavy this year and features headliners Marshmello, The Chainsmokers, and Excision, with artists like Anna Lunoe, NGHTMRE, San Holo, Herobust, JOYRYDE, Slander, Space Jesus, and more rounding out remaining spots. Weekend tickets are currently on sale with GA selling for $164.95 (plus taxes and fees) and VIP selling for $259.95 (plus taxes and fees).

Sunset Music Festival has become the staple in its hometown of Tampa, Florida at Raymond James Stadium. What started as a single day event grew to a two-day fest by its third year and now Disco Donnie Presents and Sunset Events, purveyors of the festival in the Sunshine-State, are announcing an unprecedented lineup-up for their 7th consecutive year.

Sunset Music Festival returns under the Floridan sun for an electric Memorial Day Weekend on May 26 & May 27. Pushing boundaries, this years’ line-up represents the many facets of the festival and its inclusive and innovative spirit, adding R&B and Hip-Hop talent to the best of the best in dance music.

The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, and Excision are announced to headline the two day fest and will be joined by “Goresteps” own Borgore, Destructo, Anna Lunoe, Bonnie x Clyde, Canadian trap queen DJ Cray, Australia’s GG Magree, K?D, Baltimore’s GypZ and Elephante + many more.

Disco Donnie comments, “This year’s SMF lineup includes a lot of firsts to make the lineup our biggest yet — three top tier headliners, new genres like hip hop, a focus on female artists, back to back sets, stage takeovers by All My Friends and Brownies & Lemonade, plus some new surprises in store in coming weeks.”

John Santoro of Sunset Events adds, “I feel that we really dialed in the operations last year and can’t wait to show all the added toys we put into the festival this year for our family to enjoy. I hope everybody’s ready for an unbelievable festival. From the start in 2006 to now is simply amazing how our fans love for this festival made it grow to what we are all going to experience this memorial weekend. Can’t wait for memorial weekend and for all the memories to be made.”

Leading up to the festival, SMF released a series of comedic teaser trailers, featuring Levi & Flynn, a tale of two aspiring musicians, living in a RV in Tampa, who were mistakenly convinced they were booked to headline this year’s event, since the duo shared the same name as one of the 2018 artists, Hippie Sabotage. The videos were the work of Agata Alexander, Jason Kaye, Rob Michaelson, creators of the Hard Music Festival trailers.

This year will see the debut of two exclusive stage takeovers, where electro meets hip hop featuring Destructo & Yo Gotti at the All My Friends stage, plus A-Trak and YehMe2 will headline the Brownies & Lemonade stage. The two recently declared “We’re open for festival season” and they’ll be bringing their impressive energy to the party.

BUKU Music + Art Project today announced the second round of artists for the annual festival, taking place on March 9-10, 2018 at Mardi Gras World in downtown New Orleans. The final phase of talent additions will be revealed after the New Year. Inspired by the creative subculture of New Orleans, BUKU sits at the intersection of an underground warehouse party and major urban music festival. The two-day event fuses a progressive and diverse musical lineup with live street art, custom-made industrial art installations, local food vendors, and dozens of surprise “pop-up” performances.

The latest additions to the lineup of performers include: Atlanta hip-hop trio Migos; the U.S. festival debut of Virtual Self, Porter Robinson’s new alter ego; Florida pop-punk-emo-metal heroes A Day to Remember; genre-bending electronic artist Rezz; Swedish electronic-indie group Little Dragon; a DJ set by British DJ/producer Bonobo; an extended collaborative set with Ganja White + Boogie T featuring a set by each artist and a B2B set together; a rare performance by legendary hip hop lyricist/producer Jay Electronica; electronic artists Snakehips; Gryffin; and Jai Wolf; house and techno pioneer Green Velvet; rappers Rich The Kid and Famous Dex; Vegas rockers Falling in Reverse; New York hip hop artist Princes Nokia; singer/songwriter Elohim; Dutch electronic artist Spag Heddy; rising West Coast rapper Lil Xan; Los Angeles emo revivalists Emo Nite LA; electro funk group The Russ Liquid Test; Chicago multi-instrumentalist/composer Nnamdi Ogbonnaya; local artists New Thousand; AF the Naysayer x Yung Vul; KTRL. B2B RedBarrington; and KiddLove; and the previously announced Soulection showcase will feature Sango B2B ESTA. B2B The Whooligan.

BUKU has also revealed the first VIP-only performances including EDM DJ/producers Graves and Medasin; experimental producer Ducky; industrial tech DJ/producer BlackGummy, electro DJ Squnto and local DJ TVBOO; as well as showcases from local trendsetters Freewater, Church* and BUKU’s non-profit partner Upbeat Academy.

These artists will join a previously announced roster including:

Phoenix, AZ – Building off of the Wild West concept created for this brand new experience, Relentless Beats has announced details and the lineups behind the three main stages for the two-day event at Rawhide Event Center in Chandler, Arizona this November 18 and 19, 2017. Tapping musical talent from across the globe, each of the four stages will have its own distinct musical focus and vibe, ranging from electronic and dance to hip-hop and bass and of course the RBDeep signature sounds of techno, house and underground. Rawhide Event Center is situated on the Gila River Indian Community and is Arizona’s largest 1880s western-themed entertainment venue. Located just south of Phoenix, the venue is a mere 20 minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Chandler, AZ. The venue hosts several marquee Relentless Beats events, including; Global Dance Festival, BOO!, Decadence, CRUSH AZ and Phoenix Lights Festival.

Leading up to the inaugural Goldrush Music Festival, Relentless Beats will be hosting a series of Goldrush Expeditions. Kicking off with Ghastly, K?d and Fight Club at The Van Buren on September 30th, before journeying to Salt for Tacos y Tequila with TM88 this past Friday, the series includes a mix of showcases and a DJ competition, all building towards one of the biggest events the Valley has seen. The next expedition will be October 20th, at The Van Buren and feature: Drezo; Wax Motif; Gladiator; Nukid; and Gerry Gonza. A final expedition will take place the night before the festival with Gina Turner at BFF at Bar Smith. Finally, the Goldrush Music Festival DJ Competition Finals will take place November 4th at the Monarch Theatre, with the winner receiving a slot at an upcoming Relentless Beats festival.

Making the big event bigger, Relentless Beats has released phase two of it’s massive Goldrush Music Festival lineup. A completely brand new experience, the two-day event is heading to Rawhide Western Town in Chandler, Arizona this November 18 and 19 and will be themed around a Wild West concept. Tapping electronic dance music and hip-hop prospectors from across the globe, performing on four stages, each with its own distinct musical focus and vibe, the phase two lineup includes: a first ever appearance of A-Trak b2b Baauer; Azizi Gibson; Bart Skils; Blu J; Brillz; Camelphat; Christian Martin; G Buck; Desert Hearts; Droeloe; Flatbush Zombies; Fransis Derelle; Ghastly; Habastrakt; HOSH; Judge; Jeremy Olander; Justin Jay; a special two-hour headlining set on the RBDeep stage, by Nicole Moudaber; Lil Pump and Party Thieves.
