GULF SHORES, AL – The Hangout Music Festival, a three-day music vacation on the beach, today announced the lineup for the eleventh installment of the annual festival. Hosted oceanside on the beaches of Gulf Shores Alabama, Hangout Fest is a one-of-a-kind experiential event featuring performances from the biggest artists in pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic and country, and an array of immersive beach activities that extend far beyond music. This year’s event will take place Friday, May 15 ending Sunday, May 17, 2020.

Yee-haw Cowpokes, Goldrush is back in town! Relentless Beats‘ 3rd annual Goldrush returned to Rawhide Western Town and Event Center for two days this past September 27-28, 2019. The event boasted four stages, 40+ musical acts and several individual experiences ranging from General Admission to Platinum VIP, which included private meet and greets, complimentary drinks, steakhouse dinner, raised viewing deck, front-row viewing, air-conditioned bathrooms, gift bag, and chances to hang with your favorite artists in the Platinum Lounge.

Located just outside Phoenix, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for this western-themed festival. The quaint American frontier replica town combined with the mechanical bull amplified the feeling of the Wild West and invited participants to join the theme. The jail housed partner GreenPharms, a medical dispensary, where attendees had the chance to pick up some killer swag, get a picture taken while locked in the jail cell, or sign up to win an Arizona medical card for a year. The shooting gallery was free to play and would catch a few festival goers who were changing stages or looking for a way to kill time before the next act. Keeping true to the theme, attendees could be seen rocking everything from cowboy boots and chaps to light-up fuzzy coats and nothing but glitter.

Although Goldrush is a relatively new festival, the lineup was nothing short of impressive. Some noteworthy acts from the weekend included a sax heavy set from Zhu, vibrant visuals from Oliver Heldens, straight up filth and grime from Shlump and a bass blow-out from retired NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, performing as DJ Diesel. The 7’1’ DJ Diesel joined the crowd toward the end of his set and moshed alongside festival goers and even lifted a rail-riding 5ft girl into the air like she was a paper doll. DJ Diesel also made a point to meet, shake hands, exchange hugs, and grab a few quick selfies with festival goers after he climbed out of the mosh pit and walked backstage. His set seemed to be a crowd favorite and even Dr. Fresch was spotted on stage during Shaq’s set dancing around and hyping up the crowd while wearing a sombrero.

The visuals were intense with many amazing light and video productions, but what was really breathtaking were the views from the venue of the natural landscape and mountain sunsets. It was blissful to be vibing along to great music while watching the sun disappear behind the Phoenix mountains.

Phoenix, AZ – With the final touches to Goldrush’s massive lineup just about finished, Relentless Beats is pleased to announce its artist-by-day schedule. Returning to Rawhide Western Town in Chandler, Arizona, this September 27 and 28, the fully immersive two-day festival continues to build on its theme inviting electronic dance music and hip-hop fans from across the country to take a journey into the Wild, Wild West.

Fueling the rush to the third annual festival, Relentless Beats has been hosting a series of Goldrush Expeditions starting with Dr Fresch (July 27). The series continues this weekend with Ghastly, Blossom, Rampant, Austin Feldman and Housekneckt at BLK Live on August 2, followed by Gareth Emery at Shady Park on August 16. Additionally, the Goldrush DJ Competition returns, with the winner receiving an opening slot at this year’s event. General admission passes are now available, starting at $159 for a two-day pass, plus fees. Sunset Music Festival Returns to Tampa in 2019

Sunset Music Festival 2019 Phase 1 Lineup

Sunset Music Festival will return to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL for its eighth edition this Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 & 276, 2019. Festival producers Disco Donnie are powering through after last year’s event ran into some issues caused by Subtropical Storm Alberto. The storm never directly hit Tampa, but its peripheral effects were enough to cause concern for the Tampa Sports Authority, the Tampa Police Department, and Tampa Fire Rescue. Ultimately, those three departments made the decision to cancel Day 2 of SMF 2018 due to the Tropical Storm Warning that was in effect until 5PM that day; the decision to cancel was not up to Disco Donnie or the SMF promoters or producers. It caused a lot of exasperation with fans, especially because the weather on Day 2 was all blue skies by the time the festival would have started.

This year’s event looks like SMF is returning to its roots after a very heavy focus on Bass and Dubstep in 2018. 2019’s event features some nice diversity in dance music, with a specific focus on House and Bass music and curated stages by Anjunabeats and Deadbeats. The initial lineup includes 12th Planet, Alison Wonderland, Audien, Bonnie x Clyde, Chris Lake, Destructo, Dog Blood (Skrillex & Boys Noize), Dombresky, Fisher, Flux Pavilion, Gabriel & Dresden, Gammer, Ganja White Night, Getter, Ilan Bluestone, Kaskade (Sunset Set), Lick, Liquid Stranger, Mat Zo, Omnom, Peekaboo, Rusko, Said The Sky, Steve Darko, Subtronics, Walker & Royce, Weiss, and Will Clarke. An additional phase of at least 20 more artists will be released in the coming months. In past years, SMF has released it’s Phase 2 lineup around the end of March.

2-day GA ($160.11), GA Plus ($180.71), and VIP ($252.81) tickets are currently on sale with a variety of purchasing options, including an option for a payment plan. GA Plus includes a GA pass with express entry, while VIP includes access to the VIP express entrance, VIP viewing platforms, air-conditioned VIP bathrooms, front row VIP pit access, and access to VIP bars.

New Orleans, LA – The BUKU Music + Art Project today announced a handful of surprise additions to the lineup as well as the daily performance schedule for the festival taking place on March 22-23, 2019 at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans. Two-day passes for the event are available now with single-day admission sales beginning on Friday, January 18th. A portion of ticket proceeds support the Upbeat Academy Foundation, a non-profit organization providing New Orleans youth with opportunities to study hip-hop and dance music production.

Imagine Goes All Out for 5th Anniversary

Imagine Music Festival, hosted by Iris Presents at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, went all out for their 5th anniversary this past September 21-23, 2018, featuring some of the most popular artists in the electronic music world. The Oceania Stage featured a slew of artists like Bassnectar, RL Grime, Zeds Dead, Kaskade, Galantis, Adventure Club, The Glitch Mob. The Amazonia Stage stayed true to its roots, hosting a variety of electronic fusion and jam bands like Griz, Zhu, Jai Wolf, Cashmere Cat, Shpongle, Eoto, and Lotus. Meanwhile, the Disco Inferno Stage featured some heavy-hitting bass artists on the first night, like Joker, Koan Sound, Shlump, Noisia, Boogie T B2B Squnto, before switching up to primarily House music on Saturday and Sunday nights. Disco Inferno played host to Green Velvet’s Lalaland on Saturday night, joined by Tiga, Walker & Royce, and Latmun. Sunday night was witness to Oliver Helden’s Heldeep Records takeover accompanied by Chocolate Puma, EDX, and Wax Motif. A slew of other artists filled in the gaps throughout the weekend, ranging from all sorts of genres like Trance, House, Dubstep, Freeform Bass, Drum & Bass, Electro Funk, and everything in between, including a silent disco that hosted artists late into the night when the main stages ended for the night.

In its fifth year, Imagine made some noteworthy changes to the stage and visual design. The Oceania Stage got a significant facelift with the help of Algorhythm Designs. The new design featured a wide footprint with an aquatic theme, complete with sea-creature-themed dancers and performers, some of which performed from raised half-dome shaped pools on either ends of the stage. Because of the cost of the enormity of the 5th anniversary lineup, Imagine scaled back the scope of other stages, like Disco Inferno, Amazonia, and Aeria. The Disco Inferno Stage still featured stage design and pyrotechnics courtesy of Incendia, although on a smaller scale compared to last year. Similarly, the Amazonia Stage looked more like the design from 2016 than 2017, although still staying true to its Amazon-jungle theme with vines and foliage draped above the stage. Additionally, there was a smaller presence of live painters and artists that often painted in the vicinity of the various stages. While the toned-down scale of the stage design was a bit of an adjustment, many would argue that it was a worthwhile tradeoff, considering the depth of talent of musicians and artists booked for the weekend.

It looks like Imagine wanted to bring out the big guns for their fifth anniversary. From a music standpoint, they succeeded on that front. After that banger of a musical performance, it could be worthwhile to change things up and see what Imagine would look like in the future with a little less money spent on pricey headlining artists, while reinvesting that money into unique stage designs, art installations, and up-and-coming musicians and artists.

NEW ORLEANS, LA – The BUKU Music + Art Project today announced the first round of performers for the festival taking place on March 22 and 23, 2019. Now in its eighth year, the two-day event will return to Mardi Gras World in New Orleans after a sold out 2018 event. Artists announced on the 2019 lineup are: Lana Del Rey in what is her only currently-announced U.S. performance; hip-hop and fashion icon A$AP Rocky; the return and 2019 debut of Skrillex and Boys Noize’s collaboration Dog Blood; bass music torchbearer Excision; Baton Rouge rapper Kevin Gates in his first New Orleans play since 2016; a live performance by GRiZ who just released the first two tracks off of his upcoming 2019 album; RL Grime; Louis The Child; breakout R&B star Ella Mai; hometown horrorcore rap heroes $UICIDEBOY$; a rare back-to-back set from NGHTMRE B2B Slander; the first New Orleans play for Playboi Carti; emo mainstays Dashboard Confessional and Mayday Parade; Toro Y Moi who will release a new album in January; Claude VonStroke; Gunna; Fisher; the first New Orleans play for The Black Madonna; Death Grips; a unique set from Getter performing his critically-acclaimed new album Visceral; Ekali; Yaeji; Denzel Curry; a rare joint set from J.I.D and EARTHGANG; G Jones; Liquid Stranger; TOKiMONSTA; internet sensations Oliver Tree and Doja Cat; 1788-L; jam band Papadosio; Peekaboo; Roy Blair; a special set from We Came As Romans in memory of Kyle Pavone; a DJ set from Matt + Travis of From First To Last; Rico Nasty; Dounia; Kidswaste; Whipped Cream; Mersiv; sfam. New additions included the Wharf Stage adjacent to the Mississippi River, a relocated main stage across the train tracks with the Market Street Power Plant serving as its backdrop, several new art installations, and an all new BUKU VIP Rooftop overlooking the main stage.

Tickets for the 2019 event will go on-sale Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 10AM CT and include a variety of options for general and VIP admission as well as travel packages. VIP ticketing provides a host of special amenities that include exclusive VIP-only performances, premium viewing areas, as well as an open bar for guests 21+. Atlanta, GA – Dropping a first phase lineup that set the festival world abuzz, the 5th Anniversary edition of Imagine Music Festival has released the full roster of performers for its 2018 event, which returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway in Atlanta, Georgia on September 21st through 23rd. Once viewed as a burgeoning new festival filling a void in the Southeast, Imagine Music Festival has positioned itself as one of the nation’s most anticipated electronic dance music events, as well as one of the last remaining of the independent festivals. Joining previously announced headliners: Armin Van Buuren; Alesso; Galantis; RL Grime; and Zeds Dead will be Bassnectar and Kaskade. And, special guests The Glitch Mob and Getter will be joining Adventure Club on the Oceania Stage.

Returning to Atlanta Motor Speedway for a third straight year this September 21-23, 2018, with early admission available on Thursday, Imagine continues to grow into the expansive venue further embracing the aquatic theme that runs throughout. Never ones to rest on their laurels, Imagine will be presenting fans with increased upgrades, based on feedback from its 2017 attendees. Imagine will continue to improve on the guest experience with more camping activities and services, additional entry and exits gates, improved VIP area, more custom stage designs and overall improvements to the site that will create better flow and shorter wait times. Throughout the aquatic wonderland there will be no shortage of aquatic creatures, dancers, cirque acts, art, workshops, the return of the Imagine pool and, of course, an even bigger and better lineup.
