5th Annual Trapfest Lineup by Relentless Beats

Presented by Relentless Beats and CrowdSurf Concerts, Trapfest returns to The Pressroom in Downtown Phoenix on Saturday, July 15, 2017. Celebrating its 5th year, past editions of the country’s premier trap and bass event have featured: UZ; Brillz; Bro Safari; etc! etc!; Green Lantern; GTA; Ookay; Oshi; Sikdope; Stööki Sound and Troyboi, amongst others. Expanding the lineup, this year will feature: Montreal-based, bombastic bass-drop designer Snails as the headliner with main stage support from Party Favor, who is a remix favorite for dance music elite, explosive, rapid-fire beat prodigy 4B, quasi hip hop/electronic producer, JSTJR and hard hitting bass duo Two Owls. The Pressroom outdoor patio will feature ATLiens; Bailo; Havok Roth and Woolymammoth, for a deeper look into the more experimental side of Trap.

“It only makes sense that we had to go bigger for the 5th Anniversary,” says Relentless Beats founder Thomas Turner. “This year’s lineup includes some of the hottest acts in the trap and bass world and will make for a scorching fest.”

Trapfest will return to The Pressroom in Downtown Phoenix. The indoor 1000+ person capacity and outdoor event space has served as the backdrop for a myriad of Relentless Beats events, including Trapfest 2015 and 2016. Last month, Phoenix Lights took over the Rawhide Event Center in Chandler, Arizona, with a stacked lineup featuring artists like Above & Beyond, Alesso, Tiesto, GRiZ, Zhu, Zeds Dead, STS9, Pete Tong, and more. We previously posted the unofficial Dancebreak recap video. In addition to the unofficial Dancebreak recap video, an official Phoenix Lights After Movie has been released, featuring the song “Traffic” by Loudpvck & Botnek.

A first-year festival named Lost Lake Festival will take place this October 20-22, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. The 3-day event is produced by the co-creators of Bonnaroo and Outside Lands, and in partnership with cultural leaders in the Phoenix community. Billed as a celebration of the Valley of the Sun, the festival includes music, culinary arts, games, and art. The lineup will consist of over 40 musical acts, with the first wave of artists including The Killers, Chance the Rapper, Odesza, Major Lazer, The Roots, Run the Jewels, Pixies, Big Gigantic, Ludacris, Snakehips, Tritonal, and many more. Governors Ball Music Festival returns for its 7th year this June 2-4, 2017 on Randall’s Island in New York City. The 3-day event will feature a variety of music and a multitude of New York City restaurants and food trucks. Governors Ball 2017 will feature artists like TOOL, Chance the Rapper, Phoenix, Childish Gambino, Lorde, Flume, Wu-Tang Clan, Logic, Marshmello, Phantogram, Tove Lo, Gryffin, Eden, and many more. Presented by Relentless Beats & Bassrush, the country’s leading bass music brand will be returning to Arizona on May 6, 2017 with Bassrush Massive. Featuring previously announced artists: Adventure Club; Flux Pavilion; NGHTMRE; and Andy C, Bassrush Massive has added several bass-centric artists to the lineup, including: Atlanta-based bass producer, Herobust; the God Father of hardtrap, SayMyName; Canadian producer, Phiso; and UK electronic music producer, Tisoki.

In anticipation of Bassrush Massive, Relentless Beats will be hosting the Hyper Future North American Tour which will feature sets by: Eptic, Must Die and Gentleman’s Club on Thursday, March 23, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., at the Monarch Theatre in Downtown Phoenix. Phoenix Lights, presented by Relentless Beats, has announced the final round of artists for their third annual event. The two-day music festival taking place in Downtown Phoenix on April 8 – 9, 2017, has added over 25 artists to an already massive roster, which includes: Above & Beyond, Alesso, Tiesto, STS9, Vince Staples, ZHU, Illenium, Keys N Krates, Oliver Heldens, Pete Tong, Thomas Jack, Coyu, Ekali, Ganja White Night, Grum, Hucci, Josh Wink, the Knocks, Pig&Dan, Robotti vs. Sirus Hood, Shaun Frank, Tokimonsta and Unlike Pluto. Newly announced artists for the 2017 festival are: 21 Savage, Griz, Zeds Dead, Bro Safari, Cashmere Cat, Justin Martin, Lane 8, Tchami, Tiga, Asadi, Billy Kenny, Codeko, Crizzly, Dr Fresch b2b Bijou, Felix Da Housecat, Go Freek, Helena Legend, Jax Jones, K?D, Loudpvck, Low Steppa, Manilla Killa, Said the Sky, Viceroy, Vindata and Wingtip.

New this year, Relentless Beats premiere house, techno, and underground brand, RBDeep, will host a stage during the festival boasting performances from some of the biggest names in the scene. Artists slated to take the RBDeep Stage include Justin Martin, Lane 8, Pete Tong, Tiga, Billy Kenny, Coyu, Felix Da Housecat, Go Freek, Jax Jones, Josh Wink, Low Steppa, Manilla Killa, Pig & Dan, Sacha, Robotti vs Sirus Hood, Viceroy and Wingtip On Sunday, a special stage hosted by Universatile Music, Phoenix’s premiere hip-hop brand, will include performances by Tokimonsta, Cashmere Cat, Vince Staples, 21 Savage, Griz, and more.

Finally, amateur DJs or those just looking for that big break, can take part in Relentless Beat’s First Encounters DJ Competition on March 9th, where the grand prize is an opening slot at this year’s Phoenix Lights Festival. Details will be announced in the coming weeks at www.relentlessbeats.com.

The multi-stage festival will be held at Margaret T. Hance Park, an urban setting in Downtown Phoenix. The 32-acre park located on the “deck” over the Interstate Highway 10 Papago Freeway Tunnel, between 5th Ave. and 3rd Street, is the home of the Japanese Friendship Garden, Irish Cultural Center, McClelland Irish Library, Phoenix Center for the Arts, and Burton Barr Central Library. First dedicated in 1992, the park is located near the Central Station METRO Light Rail and bus transfer stations and is surrounded by libraries, museums, educational facilities, and the arts district. Building off of this momentum, fans can expect top-level talent, cutting edge visuals, unique stage design, interactive experiential installations and more.

General Admission tickets are on-sale for $159 plus fees for a single 2-day pass or $280 plus fees for two 2-day passes. VIP passes, with a separate VIP entrance, two (2) complimentary drink tickets, a catered spread, massive VIP deck with assorted seating, premium main stage viewing area, passed hors d’oeuvres, commemorative lanyard, and VIP restrooms are available for $349 plus fees. Table service will be available and VIP is reserved for ages 21 and up. Single-day tickets are now available for Saturday and Sunday, at $89 and $79 respectively.
